Respect

Respect

As a first post here, I want to acknowledge with deep respect and gratitude, the traditional custodians of all the lands that I have had the honor of working on.

I pay my respects to aboriginal elders past and present and I extend that respect to all aboriginal people and non aboriginal people that have trusted and challenged and encouraged projects that I have been a part of.

Also to colleagues and mentors who have allowed me the opportunity to learn and work in the most rewarding and inspiring (and challenging) environments I could ever have hoped for.

In particular, I would like to thank Uncle Ray 'Splinta' Woods, from Wiradjuri Country, who over the last few years has so generously supported projects I have facilitated across the Riverina region of NSW, and offered me a deeper understanding of the land we were working on.

With gratitude.
